LUNAR — Trust No One (Prototype)

You are Lunar, the onboard AI of a deep-sea research submarine returning from a classified mission — surveying alien ruins buried in the crushing dark of a sunless ocean world. No one has ever seen what's down there. Something came back with you.

A crew member was murdered last night. The captain has activated you to help find out who — or what — did it. But you can only speak to the crew through chat.

How to play

Every conversation happens in real time, one message at a time. When a crewmate sends something worth digging into, the message lights up — tap it, and it breaks apart into fragments of text. Pull those fragments into four analysis tags — EMOTION, CONSISTENCY, DECEPTION CUE, RELATION — to figure out what someone's really saying beneath their words. Wrong pairings won't crash your system, but they won't tell you anything either. Only the right reads unlock your next move.

Once you've built a picture, you respond — but never by typing freely. You choose from two fixed replies: the truth, or a lie. Both are shown to you in full before you commit. Say the wrong thing to the wrong person, and someone dies who didn't have to.

Six crew members. One of them isn't who they say they are. Somewhere between Day 1 and whatever's left of the crew by the end, you'll have to decide how much of what you say — and what you're told — can actually be trusted.

There is no clean ending here. Only how much you're willing to lose finding out the truth.
